'Trendsetter' actor Heo Nam-jun made a stunning comeback at the 53rd Korean Broadcasting Awards ceremony.

Held on the 3rd at MBC's public hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, the 53rd Korean Broadcasting Awards presented one Grand Prize, 30 works for Best Work, and 20 individual awards (Myeong Ui (수상)).

That day, Heo Nam-jun was honored with the Best Actor Award for his role in the SBS drama "Beautiful World," which concluded in June. On stage, he repeatedly offered respectful 90-degree bows, displaying the dignity befitting a trophy winner. In an unexpected twist, he even disappeared from the screen, creating a mishap that brought surprise laughter.

Heo Nam-jun stated, "I was fortunate this year to encounter such excellent works and received more love than I deserved. I am truly happy to have been given such an undeserved award. I heard it was conducted through viewer voting. I would like to sincerely thank all the viewers and fans who voted for me. Please stay healthy always."

In the Best Actor category, the award went not only to Heo Nam-jun but also to Kim Hye-yoon, the lead actor in the SBS drama "From Today, I Am Human."

Additionally, the Best Variety Entertainer trophy was claimed by Lim Young-woong of SBS's "Island Bachelor Hero" and BLACKPINK's Jennie from MBC's "Mannyto Club." The Best New Artist Award went to the rookie group Cortis.

In the Best Work category, MBC's "Judge Lee Han-young" won for Drama Work, while SBS's "Our Ballad" and MBC's "New Director Kim Yeon-kyung" received awards for Entertainment Variety Work.

The prestigious Grand Prize was awarded to the documentary "Looking for the Sender," a 46th anniversary special on the 18th by KBS Gwangju Broadcasting Station.

The Korean Broadcasting Awards is an integrated terrestrial broadcasting ceremony held since 1973, presenting awards to outstanding programs and broadcasters.
