Singer Yang Hee-eun revealed that she is battling cancer.

On the 18th, a video titled 'Yang Hee-eun's shocking confession: only two surgeries this year' was posted on Kim Young-chul's YouTube channel.

In the video, Kim Young-chul visited Yang Hee-eun at her café in Buyeo, South Chungcheong Province, to meet her.

Kim Young-chul shared laughter by showing off his signature humor while meeting Yang Hee-eun, a senior artist.

During the conversation that day, Kim Young-chul mentioned recent photos of Yang Hee-eun using a cane and posing with Park Mi-sun and others, asking about her health.

In response, Yang Hee-eun disclosed, "I had cancer surgery. I underwent cancer surgery in April and a corneal transplant surgery in June." This marks the first time she has directly shared news of her ongoing battle with cancer. Previously, Yang Hee-eun was diagnosed with late-stage ovarian cancer at age 30 but recovered. It is now reported that she is battling cancer for the second time.

Yang Hee-eun also mentioned Park Mi-sun, who had been fighting breast cancer, saying, "We met and shouted 'Cancer Strong' together," showing that she remains healthy even after her illness.

Regarding her swollen appearance in the photo, Yang Hee-eun joked, "Lee Sung-mi said I couldn't take photos, but they took the picture from below the stairs. That's why I look swollen."
