Actor Kim Soo-hyun returned to a domestic stage after one year and six months.

On the afternoon of the 19th, Kim Soo-hyun attended '2026 The Fact Music Awards' held at Busan Asiad Main Stadium as an award presenter. This marks his first appearance on a domestic official stage since a press conference held in March last year.

That day, Kim Soo-hyun took the stage to present the 'TMA Popularity Award', greeting the audience with a bright smile. Dressed in an all-black suit, he proceeded with the presentation without showing any signs of nervousness despite his first official appearance in a long time.

He said, "Although I am standing here today as an award presenter, I am also one of the listeners who truly loves K-pop."

Continuing, he added, "K-pop has now become a single culture that transcends borders and languages to resonate and communicate. It likely means that the power of music has grown even stronger."

The recipient of the 'TMA Popularity Award' was singer Lim Young-woong. Award presenter Kim Soo-hyun and Lim Young-woong, who received the trophy, exchanged polite greetings with each other.

Lim Young-woong expressed his acceptance remarks: "I would like to thank my 'Young-woong Era' family once again. I am grateful and love you."

MC Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Congratulations to Lim Yeong-ung-ui (수상). I also want to express my gratitude to Kim Soo-hyun for joining us as an award presenter."

Earlier, in March last year, Kim Soo-hyun temporarily suspended his activities amid rumors related to his private life. However, Kim Soo-hyun's side consistently denied the allegations, and the Seoul Seongdong Police Station, which investigated the case, decided on 'non-prosecution' regarding the charges of violating the Child Welfare Act and false accusations filed against Kim Soo-hyun in July, citing insufficient evidence. The Prosecution Service also returned the case files to the police without requesting any additional or re-investigation.

Additionally, Kim Se-woo, CEO of Garo-Sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon), who spread false information about Kim Soo-hyun, was arrested and prosecuted on charges including violation of the Information and Communication Network Act (defamation).

Having shaken off judicial shackles, Kim Soo-hyun will attend 'Asia Artist Awards 2026' (AAA 2026), held at Kaohsiung National Stadium on December 5th and 6th, to meet fans from around the world.
