Audiences will watch the movie "The King's Man" in their living rooms during the Chuseok holiday.

SBS announced, "As part of the Chuseok special programming, the movie 'The King's Man' will be broadcast on the 26th at 9:30 p.m." This broadcast marks its first-ever television premiere.

"The King's Man" is a film set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457, telling the story of a village chief who voluntarily went into exile to revitalize his community and a young former king who was deposed from the throne and exiled. The work left a deep impression with its heartbreaking narrative of Danjong and the outstanding performances by the cast.

Released in February this year, it attracted 16.93 million viewers, surpassing the final audience count of the movie "Extreme Job" (16.26 million) and securing the second-highest position in all-time box office rankings.

Notably, it is scheduled for the prime holiday time slot at 9:30 p.m., expected to draw interest from family viewers. For audiences who missed the film in theaters, this will offer a chance to enjoy it from home.

Meanwhile, SBS's Chuseok special feature "The King's Man" will be broadcast from 9:30 p.m. to 11:40 p.m. on the 26th.
