Han Song-i, a broadcaster of North Korean defector origin, stated that there are no handsome spies in North Korea.

On the 30th, a video titled "The story of sex in North Korea as told by North Korean beauty Han Song-i" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Dak-teo Shin'.

Han Song-i, who appeared as a guest, mentioned the SBS drama 'Deputy Director Kim,' in which actor So Ji-sub played the role of a spy.

Han Song-i said, "There are no handsome people like So Ji-sub, Kim Soo-hyun, or Hyun Bin in North Korea. Most people are short because they don't get enough to eat. That's why their physical appearance doesn't match up either."

He explained, "Also, after joining the military, they serve for about 10 years. When these people come back after being discharged following 10 years, their parents can't recognize them."

He added, "This is because they went to the military when they were really young and pretty, but they return looking old with grandpa-like faces, so parents think a thief has come and there are cases where they beat their own sons with sticks. This is a true story."
