Broadcaster Jang Sung-gyu displayed a lighthearted competitive spirit after meeting Jeon Hyun-moo at the archery broadcast site for the "2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games."

On the 2nd, Jang shared photos on his personal social media account along with the caption, "It's even more pleasant to see you in Japan, Hyung-moo. You are a senior and older brother I respect and love, but I will beat you in the ratings."

The released photos captured Jeon Hyun-moo, who is serving as an SBS archery caster, commentator Im Dong-hyun, and Jang Sung-gyu, who is active with the KBS broadcast team, all striking a fighting pose together. The warm atmosphere among the three, who met as members of different broadcasters' teams, drew attention.

Jang joined the KBS broadcast team for this tournament and is live-broadcasting archery matches. After broadcasting the moment when Kim Jong-ho won the gold medal in the men's individual compound event—the first such achievement for South Korea—he previously expressed his feelings, saying, "It was an honor to be able to broadcast that moment."

Jeon Hyun-moo is serving as an SBS Sports caster at this Asian Games, handling broadcasts for fencing, the men's high jump featuring Woo Sang-hyuk, and the archery recurv event, among others.

Previously, Jeon expressed his determination upon joining the casting team by saying, "It is a great honor," adding, "Since many national team athletes have trained hard, I will study diligently to ensure their efforts are well conveyed and maintain the top spot in ratings."
