On “Omniscient Interfering View,” Bata, the leader of dance crew We the Boys, reveals his loving daily life as he prepares to marry actress Ji Ye-eun in December.

In Episode 420 of MBC’s variety show “Omniscient Interfering View” (hereinafter “OIV”), airing on the night of the 17th, Bata and In-gyu, leaders of dance crew We the Boys who have created choreography for K-pop hit songs that swept the globe, including Jennie’s “like JENNIE” and G-Dragon’s “POWER,” will appear. The two leaders, known for their intense stage performances, are set to showcase a unique charm by revealing their vastly different, opposite daily lives this time.

The mornings of the two leaders start at opposite extremes. Bata begins his day calmly with meditation before diving into cooking breakfast. In contrast, In-gyu radiates free-spirited energy by suddenly turning on music and dancing, even pulling out a guitar to sing. These contrasting personalities are also reflected in their roles within the team. While Bata is described as having a “motherly” style of listening to members’ concerns, In-gyu, known as “Gyu-jok-i,” is surprisingly an “fatherly” figure who does not shy away from nagging and discipline.

Following this, it is revealed that Bata, who boasts skilled cooking abilities, has actually been receiving one-on-one cooking lessons for Ji Ye-eun, sparking surprise. He confessed, “It was my dream to become a good husband,” adding, “I started learning to cook to provide healthy food for Ji Ye-eun.” While preparing cabbage pancakes and pasta, which he often made for her, he continuously engaged in “Ye-eun talk,” revealing his devoted side.

Additionally, the episode reveals the current status of wedding preparations two months away, behind-the-scenes details of the proposal, and an episode where they visited Chungju together to meet Bata’s parents. Bata is said to have shared his heartfelt thoughts with Ji Ye-eun, saying, “Thank you for trusting me and betting your life on me.” It is reported that the studio guests reacted with jealousy at the sight of the devoted Bata.

In-gyu, who had quietly continued eating despite the endless “Ye-eun talk,” makes an unexpected suggestion to Bata. He proposes singing a congratulatory song rather than performing a dance at Bata’s wedding. Citing that a We the Boys dance would be too predictable, In-gyu declares he will play guitar and sing. This bombshell statement prompts Bata to drop his sweet, devoted demeanor entirely, reacting realistically toward his close friend and turning the studio into a sea of laughter.

The cheerful morning routines of “devoted” Bata and “free-spirited” In-gyu can be seen on “Omniscient Interfering View” at 11 p.m. on the night of the 17th.
