This year's Good People Artist Award went to the late Ahn Seong-gi, who served as the inaugural Lee (President) of the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation. Debuting as a child actor, Ahn dedicated his life to Korean cinema, earning national love through numerous works and deep respect both inside and outside the film industry for his humble and sincere character.

In particular, he participated in various social contribution activities over a long period, supported junior film professionals, and practiced the values of sharing and service. Accordingly, the foundation selected the late artist as the recipient of the Good People Artist Award to honor his achievements in contributing to the development of Korean cinema and his warm life.

Ahn Philip then read a letter written by his mother, Oh So-young, who is also Ahn Seong-gi's wife. Oh was unable to attend the ceremony due to health reasons and conveyed her gratitude on behalf of the late artist through her son.

Actress Lee Se-eun, who hosted the ceremony, also expressed her longing for Ahn Seong-gi. On the 16th, she posted on her social media, "Watching a video of my senior Ahn Seong-gi from when he was alive made me tear up with longing. My heart ached as his son read the letter from his wife. I miss you, senior."
