Actor Jin Taehyun shared an update on his recent condition, revealing that he received IV drip treatment for acute pharyngitis.

On the 16th, Jin Taehyun posted a photo along with the caption, "I am boarding the train to Gyeongju to bear the fruit of my efforts thus far."

The revealed photo showed Jin Taehyun taking a picture of his own arm, where an IV line was inserted, sparking concern.

Regarding this, Jin Taehyun explained, "Acute pharyngitis struck me on Monday of this week, and I went through the most anxiety-inducing forced tapering period imaginable. From Monday to Friday, I endured hellish anxiety, but this morning I boarded the train to Gyeongju with a body that felt considerably lighter. I had resolved to prepare again with next year as my goal, but thankfully, 90% of the pain has disappeared this morning. If my physical condition is not at least 90% tomorrow, just like today, I intend to withdraw immediately."

He further stated, "If I fail tomorrow, I will challenge it again with a joyful heart, and if I succeed, I will move on to the next stage with a joyful heart. I compete against myself. If I am faster than my past records, that is always a success. Since we are not salaried professional athletes, let us always pursue challenges while maintaining physical and mental health."

He added, "Fighting for all amateur athletes preparing for the fall season."

Meanwhile, it was reported that Jin Taehyun received an early-stage thyroid cancer diagnosis in May of last year, underwent surgery the following month in June, and was subsequently declared cured.
