PD Jeong Jong-yeon of “Devil’s Plan 3” expressed anticipation for comedian Jang Dong-min’s performance as a brain player.

OTT platform Netflix’s “Devil’s Plan: Dead Again” (hereinafter “Devil’s Plan 3”) is a variety show that determines a single winner among legends who have dominated brain survival games and emerging powerhouse players, set against an expanded stage and unpredictable variables.

As such, it is drawing intense attention with its formidable lineup. In addition to Jang Dong-min, the “god of survival,” veteran contestants who have won survival games or demonstrated powerful play, including Hong Jin-ho, Oh Hyun-min, Ha Seok-jin, Jeong Hyeon-gyu, Kim Dong-jae, Seo Chul-gu, Yoo Lisa, Hyeon Gyeong-ryeol, and John Park, are set to compete. Furthermore, Shin Dong, Jaejae, Neoksal, Lee Do, Stella Jang, and Jeong Won-young, who have shown significant activity in internal company survival games and board game tournaments, join the cast, promising a fierce battle of wits and psychological warfare.

In particular, Jang Dong-min’s appearance is generating high expectations, as he has achieved “five consecutive” survival wins. PD Jeong Jong-yeon stated, “Jang Dong-min is the strongest in the history of brain survival,” adding, “We wanted to work with him because his miraculous play provides catharsis for viewers and the production team.”

PD Jeong continued, “Players with experience winning survival games are joining alongside players who have the talent to create crucial turning points in the game.” He noted, “Because experienced players possess exceptional careers and brain capabilities, we conducted extensive preliminary research and testing in parallel when recruiting new players to compete against this formidable lineup. We found players with their own unique talents to complete the current lineup.”

The return of veteran players and the addition of shrouded emerging powerhouses make “Devil’s Plan 3” even more intriguing. The narrative of alliances and conflicts that the 16th players, divided into the Prison Dormitory and the Living Dormitory, will unfold is expected to deliver even greater entertainment value. PD Jeong pointed out a viewing highlight, stating, “Since a significant number of players have experienced winning, they are likely accustomed to the glory of victory rather than the bitter taste of elimination.” He added, “Please look forward to the abilities that veteran players will demonstrate in moments of crisis, as well as the performance of new players who may lack experience appearing on survival variety shows but possess outstanding capabilities.”

“Devil’s Plan” has provided high immersion with new and interesting games each season. This season also offers fresh games that will trigger the dopamine of brain survival fans. PD Jeong previewed, “Until now, there has been a strong perception that brain survival games are very science-oriented,” adding, “This season applies many humanities-oriented elements, so you will be able to experience fresh fun.” Finally, he added, “We worked with the best cast and produced a survival show that exceeded expectations. We have prepared content that can satisfy viewers’ expectations, so I hope you enjoy watching it.”

“Devil’s Plan 3” meets audiences worldwide on November 10.
