Singer and composer Lee Jae (EJAE) is known to have enjoyed a post-wedding afterparty in Itaewon following her wedding ceremony.

Recently, the U.S. fashion magazine Vogue released photos and an interview capturing the wedding scene of Lee Jae and Sam Kim, a former music producer.

Lee Jae and Sam Kim held their wedding on the 17th at Stage28 in Godeok-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The couple tied the knot after approximately eight years of dating. Notably, the venue was known to be the former residence of Lee Jae’s maternal grandfather, veteran actor Shin Young-kyun, adding significance to the occasion.

The wedding ceremony took place amid congratulations from family, relatives, and close friends. In particular, the couple prepared a special reception for their guests, drawing attention.

Lee Jae stated, “We booked ‘After Eight,’ the wedding band we had dreamed of, to handle the music for the reception. Sam and I selected the songs, and the band performed every track much more beautifully than we had imagined.”

Additionally, a street food stall serving Korean-style street food was set up outside the reception venue. This was a consideration to allow guests to step outside briefly after dancing to eat and rest.

Regarding the wedding, Lee Jae expressed satisfaction, saying, “I am so proud that we truly had a great time at our wedding.”

The lively atmosphere continued even after the wedding ended. After finishing the reception, Lee Jae and Sam Kim headed to Itaewon in Seoul with a small group of close friends, dancing late into the night for an afterparty.

Lee Jae shared, “We are truly grateful to each other, as well as to our family and friends. We feel even more thankful that many guests traveled long distances from all over the world to celebrate with us.”

Meanwhile, Lee Jae has received global attention for composing and singing ‘Golden,’ the theme song for the Netflix animated film ‘K-pop Demon Hunters.’ She is also known as the granddaughter of veteran actor Shin Young-kyun.
