Travel YouTuber Gilbadak, who had been the subject of missing-person rumors after halting video uploads for over a year, personally reported that he is alive.

On the 22nd, YouTuber Gilbadak conducted a live broadcast titled "Report of Survival" through his YouTube channel to share updates on his current situation.

On this day, Gilbadak stated, "I am currently in Australia and living well," adding, "I saw that they are looking for me on 'Curious Story Y' because acquaintances sent them information, but I wonder if it really needed to grow this big."

He further addressed the missing-person and kidnapping rumors surrounding him, saying, "I am not being held hostage; I am doing fine on my own. It makes no sense that I was kidnapped," and drew a clear line by stating, "I am living safely, and I have not been threatened or confined."

He also explained the reason for halting his YouTube activities for approximately one year. Gilbadak said, "It has been a little over a year since I came to Australia. Life here was overwhelming, and I worked almost exclusively."

He added, "Problems arose after my laptop got water-damaged. It did not function well, so I could not edit videos," revealing the background behind the suspension of video uploads.

Previously, on the 21st, the production team of SBS's documentary program "Curious Story Y" posted a request for tips on their official homepage, stating, "We are waiting for contact from YouTuber Gilbadak himself or his acquaintances."

Gilbadak is a travel YouTuber who has gained support from subscribers by showcasing backpacking travel content while traveling around the world. However, after channel uploads were completely halted following an India travel video about a year ago, concerns arose that he may have been involved in local crime.

In response, Gilbadak personally reported through a live broadcast that he is living safely in Australia, dismissing various suspicions surrounding him.
