Actor Kang Dong-won is spreading warm emotions by remembering and fulfilling a precious promise made to a fan.

Recently, a post titled "Review of the congratulatory wreath promise that came true four months later. Thanks to Kang Dong-won" was uploaded on OnLINE, along with a video capturing the scene at the time.

According to the story revealed, Fan A had prepared a special event in June to cheer on their "deok-mae" (fandom mate) who was about to get married during the stage greeting for the film "Wild Thing," starring Kang Dong-won.

Fan A wrote three options on a sketchbook — "1. Send a congratulatory wreath, 2. Send a wedding gift, 3. Attend" — and asked Kang Dong-won to choose one directly. In response, Kang Dong-won reportedly smiled and mouthed the words, "I'll send a wreath."

Kang Dong-won had even carefully remembered Fan A's statement that they would hand over an invitation right after the stage greeting. As he was leaving after the event ended, he personally sought out the fan, offered congratulations upon receiving the invitation, and promised, "I'll send one."

It is reported that approximately four months later, a congratulatory wreath bearing the name "Kang Dong-won" arrived at Fan A's friend's wedding venue, surprising everyone on site.

Fan A expressed gratitude by saying, "Honestly, it was so long ago that I naturally assumed you had forgotten and didn't expect anything, but thanks to this, the bride got a boost of confidence," adding, "Kang Dong-won is the best."

Meanwhile, Kang Dong-won is set to appear in upcoming projects, including the Netflix historical romance drama "Hon: Time of Triangle" and director Gwak Kyung-taek's new film "Tobul."
