Kang Ji-young, a broadcaster and former JTBC announcer, shared her reflections on taking on the challenge of "Office Workers 3" and her aspirations for future activities.

The main cast members of the OTT Coupang Play variety show "Office Workers 3" held an interview with StarNews at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 30th. Director Kim Min PD and cast members Kim Won-hoon, actor Baek Hyeon-jin, and Kang Ji-young joined in, sparking lively conversation.

On this day, regarding her unexpected move to join "Office Workers 3," Kang said, "After leaving my company (JTBC), I wanted to try various challenges. That was why I started life as a freelancer."

She continued, "When I first received the offer for 'Office Workers 3,' I really wanted to do it, but I worried about whether I could actually pull it off and whether I could coexist with the other cast members. However, the PD encouraged me greatly. I joined based solely on that encouragement. Looking at the results, the 'Office Workers' members accepted and helped me so well that I truly think I made the right decision by appearing."

Kang also expressed her affection for the show, stating, "'Office Workers 3' is a program I am truly grateful for. I even got a friendly nickname, 'Kang Sam-o.' That was not an easy thing for me to achieve."

Given that she took on the challenge of sketch comedy acting, does she have ambitions for serious drama acting? In response, Kang said, "It is not as strong as saying 'I will challenge myself to act,' but I want to keep my options open and make careful judgments while continuing to try new challenges," drawing attention.
