Actor Yoo Yeon-seok shared the story behind a six-month hiatus he experienced after a casting fell through in the past.

On the 30th, a video titled "Finally met the 'Hospital Playlist' 99s! What happens when Jung-seok and Yeon-seok team up" was released on the "What Are You Going To Do?" segment of the YouTube channel "Channel Cho Seung-woo."

Yoo Yeon-seok shared recent updates about reuniting with actress Seo Hyun-jin through MBC's "Liar," stating, "We met for the first time in exactly 10 years after 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim.' I said it was so fun while doing our first shoot."

He then joked, "It was a bit more fun than during 'Hospital Playlist.'"

Yoo Yeon-seok revealed that "Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim" holds special significance for him as an actor. He confessed, "I was going through a period that wasn't quite a slump at the time. The casting for a project I had agreed to join fell through, and I ended up taking an unavoidable break of about six months."

He continued, "In the midst of that, I received a call to appear in 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim.' I learned so much from senior Han Seok-kyu at that time," adding, "My chemistry with Seo Hyun-jin was also good, and that memory remains vividly."

He then expressed satisfaction about reuniting with Seo Hyun-jin, saying, "So I had high expectations this time as well when I started filming 'Liar.'"

In response, Cho Seung-woo also recalled his special connection with Han Seok-kyu. Cho Seung-woo reminisced, "I was filming 'Goddess of Revenge' at that time. I went outside briefly during a break and found senior Han Seok-kyu there."

He revealed, "It was the first time we met, and he said, 'Nice to meet you. I've been watching your work.' He treated me so warmly that it remains in my memory."

Additionally, Yoo Yeon-seok spoke about Han Seok-kyu, saying, "He gave me a lot of advice and encouraging words even during filming," conveying his gratitude.
