Actors Shin Min-a, Lee Jin-wook and Yoo Tae-oh will portray a profound love between adults through "Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays."

"Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays," a new 12-episode MBC Friday-Saturday drama airing in the first half of 2027, tells the story of a second love beginning with a first love who returns after 12 years. Set against the backdrop of the restaurant <"Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays">, it is a drama about love, forgiveness and growth.

Director Jung Dong-yoon, who demonstrated solid directing skills through the "Gyeongseong Creature" series and "Stove League," has joined forces with writer Joo Hyun, who sharply delved into characters' emotions in "The World of the Married" and "Mr. Goo." Additionally, writer Kang Eun-kyung, who created numerous hit works such as the "Dr. Romantic" series and "King of Baking: Kim Tak-gu," has joined as a creator, generating high anticipation.

Shin Min-a, Lee Jin-wook and Yoo Tae-oh have been confirmed to star in "Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays." First, Shin Min-a will play Cha Eun-soo, who returns to find her first love after breaking up 12 years ago. After parting with her first love, Cha Eun-soo lives as a man's wife, but harbors a longing for the life she truly desires in one corner of her heart. Having returned to find her first love after a long time, she has hidden intentions that spark curiosity.

Shin Min-a has received much love for her charming appeal and delicate emotional acting in works such as "Crash Landing on You," "Our Blues" and "I Don't Want to Be Hurt." Having shown a new side through films like "Evil Connection" and "The Pupil," attention is focused on how she will portray a character with a complex inner world in this work.

Lee Jin-wook will play Kim Dong-woo, the chef at the restaurant "Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays," which opens only from Wednesday to Friday. Kim Dong-woo is a character who lives a dry daily life while holding onto memories of a first love he could not keep. He works for only three days a week and does nothing for the remaining four days, continuing a peaceful life until Cha Eun-soo, whom he broke up with 12 years ago, appears at the restaurant, bringing about change.

Lee Jin-wook, who has showcased tender romance acting in "You're Beautiful," "Nine: Travel to the Past" and "Lee Doo-na!," is expected to heighten anticipation as he returns to the melodrama genre once again. He plans to express Kim Dong-woo's complex emotions upon facing his first love, which he had buried deep in his heart for a long time, with his characteristic deep emotional acting.

Yoo Tae-oh will play Lee Won-pil, Cha Eun-soo's husband and an executive at Hangoo Construction, adding tension to the drama. Lee Won-pil is a character who possesses both ability and wealth but does not know how to love in practice. His way of protecting the person he loves is also unusual; he sometimes reveals twisted desires, leading to unpredictable developments.

Yoo Tae-oh, who received international attention through the films "Lето" and "Past Lives," has also shown a wide acting spectrum in dramas such as "Money Game" and "Love All Play." This time, he is expected to portray the complex aspects of Lee Won-pil, who wavers between love and desire, with his own unique color.

Meanwhile, "Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays" is scheduled to air in the first half of 2027.
