Felix (28, real name Lee Min-ho), a member of the group Stray Kids (SKZ), will be the first among the nine members to enlist in the military.

The agency JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) posted a notice titled "Notice Regarding Felix's Fulfillment of Military Service and Upcoming Schedules" on SKZ's official social media account on the afternoon of the 5th.

They made a surprise announcement, stating, "Felix is scheduled to fulfill his military service obligation in Q1 of 2027," and added, "As a result, Felix may be unable to participate in some of the schedules planned for Q1 of 2027, but he plans to meet STAY (the fandom name) through various content and individual activities before enlisting."

JYP conveyed, "We ask for your understanding regarding the sudden notice that may have surprised STAY. We will provide detailed information that is difficult to share at this time through a separate notice later. Please continue to show your unwavering love and support for Felix's and SKZ's upcoming activities."

As Felix was born in 1998, he had previously expressed his thoughts on military enlistment at a press conference held in August to commemorate the release of his new album. At the time, he calmly stated, "I believe that fulfilling one's duty to the nation is natural. I will also faithfully and properly fulfill my given obligation," adding, "While I have not spoken in detail about what comes after the military hiatus, what is certain is that (SKZ) seems like it will gather again."

With Felix revealing his scheduled enlistment date, he is expected to become the first 'soldier' among SKZ members.

SKZ consists of nine members: Felix, Bang Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. Among them, Bang Chan and Felix hold Australian nationality.
