The SBS Cultural Foundation plans to present sponsorship certificates to the four sponsored artists and support them in creating new works and conducting exhibitions.

'Artist of the Year' is a contemporary art artist sponsorship program co-hosted by the SBS Cultural Foundation and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art since 2012, which selects four artists (or teams) annually to support the creation of new works, exhibitions, and overseas projects.

Lee Hae-min, Lee Jung-woo, Jeon Hyun-seon, and Hong Jin-hyun were selected as this year's sponsored artists.

During the exhibition period, linked programs such as critical guided tours, screenings, and talks will also be held. Participation can be reserved in advance through the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art website.

The winner, Choi Jong (수상), will be announced in October after a second round of judging by domestic and international jurors. A documentary introducing the four sponsored artists and the Choi Jong (수상) artist is scheduled to be released via SBS and Netflix.
