Super Junior and Han Geng are nominated for EMA

Super Junior was recently nominated for the ‘Europe Music Awards (EMA).’


The group is nominated for the Asia Act Prize at the EMA, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany on November 11 (local time).


Besides Super Junior, popular Japanese idol group Exile and Malaysian diva Yuna are also nominated in the same category. Han Geng, a former member of Super Junior, is also nominated and drew a lot of attention.


This is the first time Super Junior has been nominated at the EMA. Thanks to their high popularity in Asia, the group ended up being nominated for the awards ceremony.


The EMA already has a close connection with a K-pop singer. Group Big Bang received the Worldwide Act Prize at the ’2011 MTV Europe Music Awards’.


Singer Psy, who made people from all over the world go wild with excitement, is also nominated for the Best Video Prize. The “Gangnam Style” video will fiercely compete against Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Lady GaGa.
