Moon Geun Young wears 190 million won��s worth of diamonds

On November 27, Actress Moon Geun Young attended a press conference for SBS’s new weekend series Cheongdamdong Alice and drew a lot of attention by talking about a scene in which she appears wearing 190 million won’s worth of jewelry. She said, “I heard that the diamond necklace, earrings, and ring cost 190 million won, but I couldn’t tell they were that expensive when I wore them to shoot the series. I also heard that there were 13 carats’ worth of diamonds on the earrings, but I’m not old enough to be interested in jewelry, so they just looked like ordinary earrings to me.”

The series is about an ordinary girl named Han Se Kyung who is trying to become a rich wife but comes to realize the true meaning of marriage and wealth. Moon plays the role of Han, and Park Si Hoo plays the role of a young CEO named Cha Seung Jo. So Yi Hyun plays the role of a friend of Han’s, and Kim Ji Seok plays a designer. The first episode will air on December 1.
