Lee Seung Gi has topped the U.S. Billboard K-pop Chart for six consecutive weeks.

According to the latest Billboard chart issued on January 4, “Turning Back,” the lead track of Lee’s new album, released on November 22 last year, topped the K-pop Hot 100.

It’s the sixth week for Lee to top the chart with the song.

It’s the longest period for a K-pop singer to top the chart since the U.S. Billboard created the K-pop Chart. The song beat Psy’s “Gangnam Style” and IU’s “You and I.”

Lee is also topping the domestic music charts with the song. The song is a ballad that suits the winter season, characterized by an emotive melody and lyrics.

SNSD ranked second with “Dancing Queen,” and Akdong Musician and B2ST’s Yo Seob ranked third and fourth with “You’re Attractive” and “Caffeine.”
