Will 2PM��s Taecyeon get virtually married to Gui Gui?

People looking forward to MBC’s international version of We Got Married have been wondering if Taecyeon’s virtual bride will be Taiwanese actress Gui Gui. On February 1, JYP Entertainment, Taeyeon’s agency, reported, “Several female celebrities have been nominated to be Taecyeon’s virtual wife. Gui Gui is one of them, but nothing has been confirmed yet.” Gui Gui is a Taiwanese actress who is very popular in Taiwan and China.

A spokesperson for Taecyeon says, “I think everything will be confirmed by next week. We Got Married—the Global Version will be made in the same format as the Korean version, but the husbands and wives are going to be from different countries and different cultural backgrounds.” The show is targeting the Asian market, and the date when the show will begin airing in Korea hasn’t been decided yet.

Many celebrities from foreign countries, including 2PM’s Nichkhun, f(x)’s Victoria, and Julien Kang, have appeared on the in-country version of We Got Married already.

Besides Taecyeon, KARA’s Nicole is also considering appearing on the show.
