Greatly Secretly breaks the record as a movie based on a webtoon

According to the records of the Korean Film Commission, as reported on June 10, the movie Greatly Secretly drew 3,491,508 viewers in five days. Even before it opened, it was anticipated that it would be a great hit because it recorded an 83-percent real-time reservation rate and broke the Korean record of the first day attendance by drawing 490,000 filmgoers.

The movie continued to break records, drawing a million viewers in 36 hours, two million in 72 hours, and three million by 9:00 a.m., yesterday. The total for five days was 3.49 million, beating out ��Beast,�� which recorded 3.17 million.

It also set a record as a webtoon based movie by breaking the record of Moss, which drew 3.35 million.
