Of all K-pop stars, Super Junior draw the largest audiences in Thailand
Super Junior have proved their popularity once again by drawing the largest audience at a K-pop performance in Thailand. According to an August 5 announcement by their agency, SM Entertainment, the group drew 20,000 to the Super Show 5 concert held at Impact Arena in Bangkok on August 3 and 4, breaking the record for number of attendees at a performance in Thailand by Korean artists.
They have held concerts in Thailand ten times since 2008 for a total audience of 130,000. During the concert, they performed 26 hit songs, including Sorry Sorry, A Beauty, Mr. Simple, and Sexy, Free & Single. The member known as Henry, who recently debuted as a solo artist, performed Trap with Kyuhyun for the first time, sending the fans into a frenzy. Several celebrities in Thailand, including Sorayut came to the show.
Super Junior will continue their tour at Taipei Arena in Taiwan from August 10 to 12.
