Good Morning America, on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), reported on August 28 about the female group Crayon Pop as the next-generation of K-pop rookies, explaining that the music video of their hit song “Bar Bar Bar” is receiving an explosive response on the Internet currently and is making people wonder whether they will follow in the footsteps of Psys “Gangnam Style.

The program mentioned the female groups distinctive choreography and expressed appreciation of their differentiated strategy by reporting that the group is different from other female groups, having a distinctive concept. Various parodies are appearing on YouTube, including some by students, American soldiers, and Korean policemen. People follow them on a wedding ceremony and a Korean comedian did a parody of the choreography. The program also added the choreography is spreading very fast, like Psys horse dance.

Billboard Online spotlighted them on August 16 and named them the new rookies after world star Psy. The group will release a new song in September and have people wondering what kind of song they will come up with after Bar Bar Bar.
