Girl group ‘Fiestar(Jay, Lindsay, Yeji, Hye Mi, Char Oh Ru)’ is being criticized for their noise marketing. They’ve been criticized from the music fans that it is just too much.

‘Fiestar’s new song [One More] has overly sexual content and the song was suspended from being performed on MBC and SBS.

The problem is that the attention on the song is leading to a very obscene talk. Especially about the part that became the problem, the agency [Collabodadi] explained that the song is about couples playing smart phone games but the explanation is not plausible enough.

In the music video, there are two topless men who fainted and member ‘Jay’ looks as if she is missing something.

The lyrics are sensual and they go like this, “Please invite one more between you and me. Someone who has done this more than us. This is the time. One Two Three. You always take me to the same place, same course. We two do the same thing all the time. I want to go crazy.”

Also the teaser title before the comeback was called ‘Bed paparazzi’ and there are pictures of the members revealing parts of their breast and hips. The agency prepared 2 different versions of lyrics before releasing the song and they must have expected this kind of situation.

People are saying that it is the agency’s method of promotion is too vulgar. They have succeeded in drawing the public’s attention with ‘Threesome’, ‘Suspension’, ‘Too much exposure’ but they are being criticized at the same time.

The agency looked as if they have been waiting for the suspension, bringing other versions of the lyrics immediately after the suspension warning. Stimulating and obvious marketing seems to be their way of promotion and they aim for ‘noise marketing’ instead of giving good music to the public.

The K-Pop industry is a very fierce market and ones who do not draw enough attention are easily forgotten. However, there is a saying, ‘Easy come, easy go.’
