5 different faces with 5 different colors appeared. From cuteness to manliness, boygroup with diverse charms have appeared. ‘B.I.G.(Boys In Groove)’ means they are boys who love music and the group consists of 5 members : ‘J-Hoon(24)’, ‘Benji(22)’, ‘Gun Min(20)’, ‘Gook Min Pyo(20)’ and ‘Hee Do(18)’

‘B.I.G’s debut single album [Hello] which was released on July 9th is their first “hi” to the public. The members have practiced for 1 to 3 years and they talked about their excited hearts.

“I still can’t believe this. We thought that we would always be just practicing for our debut and even when we heard about our debut and filmed music videos, it still feel like reality. We sleep 3 hours a day these days, but even this is happy for us. Everything is new and interesting. There would be a lof of hardship, but we are excited and we expect great things.”(‘J-Hoon’, ‘Hee Do’, ‘Gun Min’)

‘B.I.G’ members have specialites. ‘Benji’ is a violin genious who entered [Juilliard Music School] who has played the violin since he was 4. He has won many awards, ochestra experiences. ‘J-Hoon’ stared dancing as a hobby and he joined street dance and won several awards. Each member has their strength and colors.

‘B.I.G’s debut song [Hello] is a hip-hop song that introduces Korea’s food,cars and many other interesting things.
The producer ‘Playful kid’ wrote the lyrics and the song and the song has strong rhythm and repeating pattern. The members love the song.

“The song introduces Korea. Korea’s impressive things such as internet speed, cars, national flag, traditional games are in the lyrics. Also there are Korean foods such as ‘Kim Chi’, ‘Dok Gal Bi’, ‘Bulgogi’ and ‘Chicken Soup’. At first, you may be puzzled but if you just listen to the music a few times, you will be thinking about it all the time.” (‘J-Hoon’, ‘Gook Min Pyo’)

The 17th [Asian game] would be held at the end of September in Incheon. The members wanted to become patriots since their music is about introducing Korea. ‘J-Hoon’ said that he is thankful to sing a song to introduce Korea just in time for [Asian games]

“We hope [Hello] would be a song that represents Korea. As our song is about introducing Korea to the world, we should do our best. We would like to be called ‘patriotic’ idols. We would be a strong team in the K-pop industry.”
