Singer MC Mong aged 35, whose real name is Shin Dong-Hyun), is now working on his comeback album abroad.

A representative of his entertainment agency, Wellmade Yedang, told Star News on the 29th, MC Mongwent to the US 2 weeks ago to prepare for his new album. He is now working on several songs for his comeback in the US.

MC Mong will come back to Korea in early August. After then, he will finish his work on his new album and make an official comeback in September or October, he added.

Back in 2010, MC Mong was accused of purposely having his teeth pulled out in order to avoid conscription into the military. Although he was found to be not guilty in 2012, the singer was convicted of obstructing public officials in carrying out their duties by taking a false civil service examination to delay his military service. As a result, the rapper made a decision to take a break from the industry to stay out of the spotlight and have enough time for self-reflection.
