��AOA�� to Make Official Japanese Debut in October�� Will They Be the New ��Korean Wave�� Group?

Girl band “AOA” (“JI MIN”, “CHO A”, “YU NA”, “YOU KYUNG”, “HYE JEONG”, “MIN A”, “SEOL HYUN”, “CHAN MI”) will make their official Japanese debut in October.

According to “AOA”‘s agency “FNC Entertainment”‘s press release on August 1st, “AOA” will release their Japanese debut single, [Mini Skirt] on October 1st, on “Universal Music Japan” label.

“Universal Music Japan” is a local record company which signed Japanese distribution contracts with Korean singers such as “Girl’s Generation”, “KARA”, and etc. “Universal Music Japan” highly evaluated “AOA”‘s potential and marketability, which led them to sign the contract.

“AOA” already made an impression to Japanese fans and concerned parties with their Japanese showcase last year and “FNC Entertainment Family Concert”, which took place this March.
