‘Yeon Woo Jin & Jung Yoo Mi’s [Tunnel 3D] Starts at Fifth Place On Release Date.

Horror movie [Tunnel 3D] ranked fifth on box-office on the first day of release.

According to the Korean Film Council’s Korean Box Office Information System, on 21st, [Tunnel 3D] (Director, ‘Park GyuTaek’) had total number of 19251 audiences for a day on 20th and ranked fifth on daily box-office chart. The total number of audiences is 22822 including the audiences from the preview.

[Tunnel 3D] is Korea’s first full 3D produced horror movie. It is about a group of friends who goes to a coal mine where a new resort is being built. They accidently kill someone and gets trapped in thec oal mine when they try to dispose the body there. ‘Yeon Woo Jin’ ‘Jung Yoo Mi’ ‘Song Jae Rim’ ‘Jung Si Yeon’ and others starred in the film.

[Tunnel 3D] released last 20th was screened 908 times in 263 theaters nationwide and has gained about 20 thousand audiences. There is a much attention towards whether [Tunnel 3D], released at the last minute of summer, will succeed in targeting niche market.
