A band FT Island (Jonghoon Choi, Honggi Lee, Jaejin Lee, Seunghyun Song and Minhwan Choi) which just marks the 10th debut anniversary asks to anticipate as a 'band' now and for ever.

FT Island launched a debut 10th anniversary album 'OVER 10 YEARS' showcase at Seoul Gwangjangdong Yes24Hall on June 7th at 3:00pm. FT Island debuted last 2007 Junce 7th with a title song 'Love Sick' from the first album 'Cheerful Sensibility'. 17.4 years old members back then are now in their late 20s.

Honggi Lee said, "On June 7th when we first debuted, rain was pouring, too. It is weird." Then he added, "It was hard to choose the concept of whole album. It was also hard to decide the tracks(not a title song). It was even hard to choose the title song".

Seunghyun Song said, "This is just the beginning. We will work hard with our life on the line for the rest of our remaining time." A leader Jonghoon Choi said, "we were fresh and young 10 years ago", and added, "We will make a better music."

FT Island's debut 10th anniversary album 'OVER 10 YEARS' is an album that shows the past years of FT Island and the future after 10 years of promotions of FT Island.

Honggi Lee said, "It was hard to name the title song. We have more than 10 choices." He showed his ambition of 10 years, or even 20 years of promotion. He wouldn't stop here.

Jaejin Lee said, "This album contains our features from last 10 years." He added. "We have knew each other last 10 years and developed. We put our all heart that please look forward to the future."

Title song 'Wind' is a rock ballad that argent emotions show out. This song expresses the wrench of parting after let beloved women leave. Honggi wrote and composed the song.

Honggi Lee said, "'Wind' was first made 3 years ago. I made a compromise with musicality and popularity. I wanted to make it more grandly as well as containing original feature of FT Island."

Honggi Lee also said, "I wanted to show how my emotional ballads changed from 10 years ago to now."

This day, FT Island confessed that 'love sick' is not the music they seek for. It was ashamed as a band; releasing a music that they don't seek for.

Honggi Lee said "This is the song that made us here, and made us to dream bigger. Even though this song has different taste that we wanted, it is still a good song. Without 'Love Sick', we couldn't do musics that we wanted afterwards."

Minhwan Choi said, "If we go back to 10 years ago, we still have to do 'Love Sick'." Honggi Lee responded, "If we go back to the past, and practice more when we were trainees, then I think it would be different."

'Identity' was another big issue. Honggi Lee said, "Even though we went to Japan for promotions, because of a modifier 'Idol Band', there were more negative view. However, we showed our talent through performance whenever we had chance to perform. Then, we were acknowledged as a band."

He also said, "There are many people who criticize us that FT Island is not a band. If we have chance, we would really want to make a 'Keyboard Warrior Seat' and show them our talent. We are very confident."

FT Island promised that they will join the army together and work for our music promotions.

Honggi Lee said, "Enlist together was promised from past years." and also said, "We really will join the army together. And do the same music. We will go on the same path. If one succeeds, then everyone succeeds. If one fails, then everyone fails altogether."

Minhwan Choi said, "Even though we join the army together, I hope we stay in different barracks."

FT Island who just released 10th anniversary album plans to meet fans by having Korea-Japan Rock festival. Minhwan Choi said, "We promised that think of it as 0th year, without 1 in 10th years.
