Boy group MONSTA X leaves for the virtual world with iHeart.

According to the agency Starship Entertainment, on the 10th (Eastern time in the US), Monsta X will once again join hands with iHeartRadio, a famous American radio station, to launch 'iHeartLand' in the metaverse (virtual world). 

iHeartRadio is the organizer of the annual "Jingle Ball" tour held in the US, and Monsta X was the first K-pop group to participate in the event in 2018, joining the tour three times in 2019 and 2021.


MONSTA X's metaverse performance will be held at 'iHeartLand's State Farm Park' in the games Roblox and Fortnite. 

Roblox and Fortnite are metaverse-based games designed to allow users to enjoy performances and podcasts of their favorite artists in a virtual world. With the launch, Charlie Puth was selected as the first artist, and Lauv and Pentatonix participated. As for Korean artist, Monsta X will be the first runner.

The performance will include hit songs, songs loved by MONSTA X in the US, and famous songs released in Korea. In addition to the stage, fans are expected to enjoy additional content such as mini-games related to Monsta X, so they can experience a different kind of fun and enjoyment from the stage that Monsta X has shown so far.

MONSTA X, which has received overseas and metabus platforms beyond Korea, has recently received favorable reviews from leading overseas media outlets. 

Billboard praised Monsta X's 12th mini-album 'REASON', released on the 9th of last month, saying, "Monsta X is always good at making fun songs of various genres."

The British music magazine 'CLASH' also introduced, "As the most recognizable group in K-POP, this album contains the tenacity and perfection of 8 years."
