The girl group NewJeans set a new record for a K-pop female artist on the US Billboard chart, shining global popularity.
According to the latest chart (as of March 18) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on March 14 (local time), the debut song 'Hype boy' of the New Jeans (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) is the Billboard ' It ranked 101st on the Global 200.
It has been on the chart for 31 consecutive weeks, which is the longest period for a K-pop female artist in the category.
'Hype boy', one of the triple title songs of New Jeans' debut album, first entered the Billboard'Global 200' at number 116 (as of August 20, 2022), climbed to number 52, and has been steadily gaining popularity until now.
