On the 8th, a media day for '2023 MAMA Awards' was held at SJ KUNST HALLE in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with host Jeon So-mi, Mnet's Business Director Park Chan-wook, Convention Contents Planning Team Leader Lee Sun-hyung, PD Lee Young-joo, PD Shin Yu-sun, and PD Lee Hyung-jin in attendance.
The hosts for '2023 MAMA' making history as the first Korean awards show to enter the Tokyo Dome are actor Park Bo-gum and singer Jeon So-mi. Jeon So-mi will host Chapter 1 on the first day, and Park Bo-gum, who has been a prominent host since 2017, will be responsible for Chapter 2 on the second day.
