YG Entertainment's new girl group, BABYMONSTER, has confirmed their debut on the 27th, unveiling the first member, CHIQUITA, and intensifying global fans' anticipation.

On the 13th, YG Entertainment shared 'BABYMONSTER - VISUAL FILM | CHIQUITA' and 'BABYMONSTER - VISUAL PHOTO | CHIQUITA' on their official blog. CHIQUITA, shrouded in an unapproachable aura, captivates with orange-tinted hair, black and red street fashion, and high-top shoes, creating a hip allure. Wrapped in a veil, it teases curiosity about the debut concept.

CHIQUITA's confident expression, seemingly ready to unleash a performance at any moment, along with compelling gestures, draws attention. This glimpse of CHIQUITA shows a step forward from their appearance in the previous debut reality, revealing an evolved side, leading to heightened interest in other members whose veils will be gradually unveiled. CHIQUITA, born in 2009, is introduced as the youngest prospective member and a YG Thai artist following in the footsteps of BLACKPINK's Lisa. Recognized for innate star quality and solid musical abilities, she joined the BABYMONSTER project just three months after becoming a trainee.

BABYMONSTER is YG's first girl group release in about seven years since BLACKPINK. Notably, their multinational composition from Korea, Thailand, and Japan, coupled with top-tier vocal, dance, rap, and visual abilities, has gained attention as a 'monster rookie' shaking up the K-pop scene. Even before debut, their official YouTube channel had 3.17 million subscribers and over 450 million views. Billboard selected them as a 'K-pop Artist to Watch', forecasting that they will create a new wave in the K-pop genre.

Set to debut on November 27, they're stepping into the global music market with powerful strides. The music video, shot over five days, aims to encapsulate each member's individuality and the team's identity, utilizing YG's accumulated expertise. YG has stated their commitment to putting in extra effort towards the final stages to present the best results on their official debut date.
