As the issue of YG Entertainment's new girl group Baby Monster's Ahyeon's non-debut arose, the agency remained silent.

Regarding Ahyun's failure to debut as Baby Monster on the 15th, a YG official briefly said, "We will tell you later."

On this day, News 1 reported that Ahyun was excluded from her debut as a member of Baby Monster due to her recent personal reasons. Baby Monster, who was scheduled to debut as a 7-member group, confirmed her debut as a 6-member group excluding Ahyun.

Previously, YG announced Baby Monster's official debut on the 27th. Additionally, she included Ahyeon in the final member selection in February and praised her as "a perfect trainee who not only dances, but also has impeccable vocals and explosive rap skills." She is also called a 'Jenny lookalike' among her fans.

Baby Monster is a girl group released by YG 7 years after Blackpink.
