Attrakt, Kim & Chang appointed... Fifty Fifty 'Cupid' copyright battle fierce

Attrakt (CEO Jeon Hong-jun) appointed a new legal representative to respond to illegal activities during the 'Cupid' copyright registration process.

Attrakt announced on November 27, "We have determined that the illegality of the 'Cupid' copyright registration process is a very high issue, and to specifically address this issue, we will appoint a new law firm, Kim & Chang, to take legal action."

Previously, on June 27, Attrakt filed a criminal complaint against Ahn Seong-il, CEO of Dougie Bus, at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on charges of obstruction of business, damage to electronic records, fraud and embezzlement, and breach of trust.

Attrakt's legal representative, said, "Regarding the copyright of 'Cupid', we understand that there is an existing case in progress against Dougie Bus and related parties regarding forgery of private documents, use of forged documents, violation of outsourcing service contracts and others. We understand that. “We plan to prepare and respond to cases related to unauthorized registration of copyright shares. We will also deal with unauthorized reduction of copyright shares related to the creative contributions of Fifty Fifty member Kina in the future.”

Meanwhile, Kim & Chang Law Firm is preparing a legal dispute by forming a team of copyright-related lawyers.
