BTS member RM shared an update on his current status as he prepares for his military enlistment.
On the 4th, RM posted on his Instagram story, saying, "D-7 and I am..." accompanied by a photo of himself working on music. In the shared picture, he is seen engrossed in music production. Fans speculated that RM might be releasing a new song to comfort fans who are feeling the absence due to his upcoming enlistment.
Previously, BTS's agency, Big Hit Music, announced, "RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS have initiated the procedures for fulfilling their mandatory military service." RM will be enlisting on the 11th, along with V, at the same training center, starting his active-duty military service in the army.
Jimin and Jungkook will be entering different training centers on the 12th.
It's worth noting that Jin enlisted in December of last year, J-Hope in April of this year, and Suga is currently serving in alternative military service as a social service worker since his enlistment in September. Jin and J-Hope are expected to complete their service in 2024, and the full lineup of BTS members is anticipated to reunite in 2025.
