LE SSERAFIM's 'Perfect Night,' secured the 11th position on the Global Chart

The girl group LE SSERAFIM, consisting of members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazzha, and Hong Eunchae, has achieved a remarkable feat with their new song 'Perfect Night' by maintaining a spot on the U.S. Billboard chart for five consecutive weeks.

According to the latest Billboard chart released on December 5th (local time) for the week of December 9th, LE SSERAFIM's first English digital single, 'Perfect Night,' secured the 11th position on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart for five consecutive weeks.

'Perfect Night' also maintained its position on other charts such as 'Global 200' (25th) and 'Canada Hot 100' (74th) for five consecutive weeks. The song's presence on the Billboard chart continues even amid the year-end dominance of carols, demonstrating its long-lasting popularity.

The English track 'Perfect Night' is also making history on the domestic music charts. The song topped the latest Melon weekly chart (for the period November 27th to December 3rd) for two consecutive weeks, marking a unique achievement for LE SSERAFIM as the first K-pop female artist or group to claim the number one spot on the Melon weekly chart with an English song. Additionally, 'Perfect Night' maintained its top position on the daily chart for 15 consecutive days (from November 20th to December 4th).

Furthermore, LE SSERAFIM's track 'Eve, Psyche, and the Blue-Haired Wife' from their first full-length album ranked 32nd on the list of 'The 50 Best Songs of 2023,' as announced by the UK magazine NME on December 4th.

NME introduced the song as "a track that boldly confronts societal taboos through a futuristic EDM sound, inspired by three rebelious women in mythology." They praised Heo Yunjin's lyrics, particularly "I'm a mess in distress / but we're still the best dressed," calling it "one of the best pop lyrics of the year."
