BTS member Jimin has garnered global popularity by being selected as the artist most listened to by Emirates Airlines customers in 2023.

Emirates Airlines, an international airline operating to over 140 destinations worldwide, recently released data analyzing content consumed the most by passengers during the year 2023. According to the airline's data, Jimin's name appeared on the list of global musicians, proving that he captured the hearts of numerous global fans as a K-pop solo artist alongside top-charting artists like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

According to the airline's data, Jimin emerged as the passengers' favorite artist in a library consisting of over 3,000 albums, 500 playlists, 40,000 tracks, and 4,000 hours of music and podcasts. Global multimedia platform Mashable Middle East commented, "Jimin has conquered the sky," noting that Jimin's melodies stood tall alongside top-charting artists like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. They praised Jimin, formerly known as the "it boy of K-pop," for earning the nickname "global it boy" thanks to his tremendous popularity.

Global media outlet Sportskeeda's 'SK pop' also reported on Jimin's achievement, stating that Jimin's fans expressed joy and celebrated the special moment through social media upon hearing that passengers enjoyed Jimin's music.
