"NewJeans" Dominates the 2023 Circle Chart

The group NewJeans (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) achieved a double crown as they conquered the 2023 Circle Chart, securing the top position in both the Digital TOP200 and the Global K-pop yearly rankings.

According to cumulative data released by Circle Chart on December 28, covering the period from January 1 to December 23, 2023, NewJeans' "Ditto," released on December 19 of the previous year, recorded a Circle Index of 778,301,255 from January 1 to December 23, claiming the top spot on the Circle Chart Digital TOP200. The second position was also captured by NewJeans with "Hype Boy," released on August 1 of the same year, achieving a Circle Index of 711,997,499 during the same period.

The third spot went to IVE's "I AM" with a Circle Index of 694,087,558, followed by NewJeans' "OMG" in fourth place with a Circle Index of 645,925,392, and fifth place was taken by Yoonha's "Horizon of the Case" with a Circle Index of 642,628,636.

Sixth place was claimed by IVE's "Kitsch" with a Circle Index of 561,578,524, seventh place by (G)I-DLE's "Queencard" with a Circle Index of 492,255,230, eighth place by NewJeans' "Attention" with a Circle Index of 481,113,366, ninth place by Park Jae-jung's "Let's Break Up" with a Circle Index of 477,069,217, and tenth place by IVE's "After LIKE" with a Circle Index of 474,397,826.

NewJeans also secured the top spot in the Circle Chart Global K-pop yearly rankings. Following "OMG" in first place, "Ditto" took the second spot, followed by Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto) - Explicit Ver." in third place, Fifty Fifty's "Cupid (Twin Ver.)" in fourth place, and NewJeans' "Super Shy" in fifth place. Rounding out the top ten were NewJeans' "Hype Boy," Jisoo's "Flower," IVE's "I AM," Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto) - Clean Ver." in ninth place, and Jimin's "Like Crazy" in tenth place.
