LE SSERAFIM's 'Perfect Night' Tops Melon Weekly Chart in the First Week of 2024

LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yoonjin, Kazuha, Hong Eun Chae) claimed the top spot on the latest Melon Weekly Chart (January 1-7) with their first English digital single, 'Perfect Night,' announced on the 8th (Korean time). Following their domination of Melon's last weekly chart in 2023, the group maintained their popularity by securing the first position in the first weekly chart of the year.

'Perfect Night' also held the top position for two consecutive weeks on the latest weekly chart of the Korean YouTube Music (December 29, 2023 - January 4, 2024). The sustained popularity of this English song, particularly in the face of a relative decline for English songs on domestic music charts, has drawn notable attention.

The long-running success of 'Perfect Night' extends to global charts as well. The song ranked 119th on the latest 'Weekly Top Song Global' on Spotify (December 29, 2023 - January 4, 2024), and it entered the 'Weekly Top Song' charts in a total of 12 countries/regions.

Furthermore, LE SSERAFIM's debut album's track, 'Blue Flame,' surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify on the 5th. With this achievement, LE SSERAFIM now boasts seven songs with over 100 million streams, including the title track 'UNFORGIVEN (feat.
