BTS Jimin's album production journey, documented in 'Jimin's Production Diary' for his first solo album 'FACE,' has been selected as one of the '8 Best Documentaries of 2023' by the global media outlet 'Leisure Byte,' which covers entertainment and lifestyle.

Released on March 24 of the previous year, Jimin's album 'FACE' marked a new beginning as a solo artist, capturing the journey of preparing to face himself entirely. Jimin actively participated in the lyrics, composition, and overall production, achieving unprecedented success in major global music markets, including Billboard.

In October of the same year, the documentary 'Jimin's Production Diary' revealed the emotions and challenges Jimin faced during the preparation of the 'FACE' album, showcasing the unfiltered process, including conversations with the producers. This candid portrayal garnered attention from global media and fans worldwide.

As 'Leisure Byte' concluded 2023, they stated, "Choosing the best documentary to represent the year is a challenging decision, but it brings happiness and pride. They announced the selection of 8 best documentaries across various fields such as human rights, arts, literature, crime, and war. In the music category, besides the Netflix documentary 'American Symphony' covering the life of Grammy-winning artist Jon Batiste, Jimin's 'FACE' album production journey was the only inclusion.

The media introduced Jimin by stating, "Whether you are an ARMY (BTS fandom) or not, if you haven't examined him closely yet, he is an artist you must pay attention to." They emphasized that the documentary is another testament to Jimin's extraordinary talent and highlighted the significance for anyone interested in music and music production.

Jimin's 'FACE' album continues to make history in the global music market as a Korean-language album, even after almost 10 months since its release. The anticipation for Jimin's diverse expressions as a solo artist after his military discharge adds to the ongoing interest in the documentary capturing the making of the album.
