All BTS members into their military duties

Jimin and Jungkook, having completed their basic military training, officially begin their military service today, marking the initiation of all BTS members into their military duties.

According to industry sources on the 17th, Jimin and Jungkook concluded their basic military training at the 5th Infantry Division Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, and will now commence their active military service at the same location. This is where their eldest member, Jin, is serving as an instructor at the recruit training center.

Consequently, until Jin completes his military service, the three members will be living together in the same division. Jin was the first among the members to enlist, beginning his service in December 2022 and currently holds the rank of corporal. The encounter of Corporal Jin with Privates Jimin and Jungkook adds an intriguing dynamic to their military journey.

RM and V, who enlisted a day before Jimin and Jungkook, also had their completion ceremony a day earlier on the 16th at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam. RM will continue his active military service, while V, before enlisting, volunteered for additional training at the Capital Defense Command Special Mission Unit (SDT).

Big Hit Music, the agency, had previously urged fans to exercise caution and prevent confusion, stating that the military base is a shared space among ordinary soldiers and is used for military training. They also advised fans to refrain from sending letters and gifts due to the difficulty in storage and the risk of loss.
