Following closely is 'Sweet Night,' released in March 2020, with 359.9 million streams, trailing 'Love Me Again.' The song 'Love Me Again' is part of V's solo album 'Layover,' featuring a unique blend of 1970s soul with gospel elements in the R&B genre. It stands out in the K-pop scene for its dreamy effects and V's rhythmic and powerful vocals.

'Love Me Again' received explosive reactions, accumulating over 39.69 million views within a week of its music video release on August 10th last year. It dominated charts such as iTunes Music Video, Apple Music Video K-pop category, and YouTube Music Video, securing the top spot. The music video also gained popularity in 87 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Japan.

In an interview with Rolling Stones, V mentioned that 'Love Me Again' is his personal favorite among the songs on his solo album 'Layover.' He shared, "'Love Me Again' is a song that recalls memories and expresses the desire to go back to the past. That sentiment is reflected in the music video. In short, it conveys the message that my youth is not yet over."
