TWS is launching its global activities by partnering with the world's largest record label, Universal Music.

Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced on the 16th that "TWS (Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) has signed contracts with Geffen Records under Universal Music Group and Virgin Music under Universal Music Japan for their activities in the United States and Japan."

Through these contracts, TWS will receive support for distribution, marketing promotions, and overall activities in the US and Japan. TWS, which debuted less than a month ago, has signed such contracts, further raising expectations for their future global activities.

TWS, the boy group released by Pledis Entertainment after 9 years since Seventeen, has been attracting attention as the "most anticipated group of 2024" even before their debut. Since their debut on January 22nd, they have been rapidly establishing themselves as the "best rookie of 2024" through significant achievements. They are gaining a large response from K-pop fans with their fresh and innocent image based on their unique genre, Boyhood Pop. Their debut title track "The First Meeting Didn't Go as Planned" has also received a favorable response.

TWS is bringing a new breeze to the K-pop scene by decorating the covers of domestic and international famous magazines, being selected as models and ambassadors for beverages and duty-free shops, ranking 6th in K-pop boy group debut album sales (according to Hanteo Chart), surpassing 100 million cumulative views on their TikTok account within a month of opening (as of February 2nd), dominating the daily charts of music streaming sites (Bugs, Flo, Melon, Genie, Spotify Korea), and winning music shows.

Meanwhile, TWS has been invited as the main artist to the largest fashion festival in Japan, the "38th My Navi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 Spring/Summer," and will hold their first performance in Japan on March 2nd, following their debut.
