BTS's V enters the top 100 worldwide Spotify followers ranking, shining with global popularity.

As of February 19th, V recorded 17,076,293 Spotify followers, securing the 100th spot among all artists on Spotify.

V not only ranks first among K-pop solo artists but also becomes the only artist to enter the top 100 Spotify followers globally on that day. In the overall ranking including K-pop groups, V occupies the 4th position.

Ed Sheeran holds the top spot globally with 112.78 million followers, while BTS ranks 11th with 71.29 million followers. The top 100 includes world-famous pop stars such as Taylor Swift (2nd with 116 million followers), Ariana Grande (4th with 94.49 million followers), Michael Jackson (47th with 29.67 million followers), and The Beatles (56th with 26.69 million followers).

V's solo song streams are also steadily increasing. Since surpassing 2.2 billion streams on February 4th according to V's Spotify profile, he has recorded a total of 2.28053 billion streams as of the 19th.

V's solo album "Layover," released in September last year, surpassed 1.18862 billion streams on the 19th, including remixes. The title track "Slow Dancing" recorded 331.5 million streams.

"Layover" set a remarkable record in 2023 as the K-pop solo album with the most weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, it is currently charting for the 22nd consecutive week on the Billboard Top Current Albums Sales Chart, marking the second-longest record among K-pop solo albums.

Additionally, V has been praised for showcasing his unique artistic world and making bold attempts different from current music trends. The album ranked 2nd in Billboard's 'Best K-pop Albums of 2023' and was selected as one of the 'Best Albums of the 30s in 2023' by UK's Timeout.
