BTS's Jungkook won the "Male Artist of the Year" award at the 2024 People's Choice Awards in the United States, showcasing his qualities as a global pop star.

Jungkook received the award on February 18th (local time) at the 2024 People's Choice Awards held in Santa Monica, California.

After winning the "Collaboration Song" category at the 2022 People's Choice Awards for his collaboration with Charlie Puth on "Left and Right," Jungkook secured his second trophy this year, demonstrating his strong influence as a solo artist on the world stage. He competed against top stars such as Morgan Wallen, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Drake, Jack Harlow, and Post Malone in the "Male Artist of the Year" category.

Jungkook made history as the first and only Asian artist to win the "Male Artist of the Year" award at the People's Choice Awards.

Additionally, he set a record as the first K-pop solo artist to win multiple awards at the People's Choice Awards.

The "Female Artist of the Year" award went to the global pop star Taylor Swift.
