BTS's Jungkook establishes himself as the 'Unrivaled King of Music Streaming'

BTS's Jungkook, the absolute powerhouse in music streaming, has continued his reign at the top of the charts with 'Standing Next to You,' the title track from his 'GOLDEN' album, on the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart).

According to the Korea Music Content Association, which operates the Circle Chart, Jungkook's 'Standing Next to You' secured the top spot on the Weekly Global K-Pop Chart (February 11th to February 17th).

'Standing Next to You' maintained its position at the top for the 13th consecutive week, showcasing Jungkook's formidable music streaming power.

Jungkook's solo single 'Seven' (Explicit Ver.) rose in rank compared to the previous week, reaching 6th place, while '3D' entered the top 10 at 10th place on the Weekly Global K-Pop Chart. Additionally, other tracks from the 'GOLDEN' album made their presence felt on the chart: 'Seven' (Clean Ver.) at 11th place, 'Yes or No' at 38th, 'Please Don't Change' at 76th, 'Hate You' at 79th, 'Closer to You' at 116th, 'Somebody' at 120th, 'Too Sad To Dance' at 134th, 'Shot Glass of Tears' at 158th, Jungkook's self-composed track 'Still with You' at 91st, and the 'Standing Next to You-Usher Remix' featuring R&B legend Usher at 37th.

Earlier, in the year-end summary released by the Circle Chart, Jungkook was recognized as the artist with the most number-one rankings on the Daily Global K-Pop Chart in 2023, totaling 157 times, solidifying his position as the artist with the highest number of chart-topping songs.

Jungkook made history at the 'Circle Chart Music Awards 2023' (CCMA 2023) by winning three awards, including 'Artist of the Year Album,' 'Artist of the Year Global Streaming,' and 'Artist of the Year Circle Index,' becoming the first solo artist to win in both the music and album categories simultaneously. He also received the honor of being the solo artist with the most awards this year.
