RIIZE, a group selected as the 'Best New Artist' at the Japanese Gold Disc Awards, has been awarded a valuable trophy at a prestigious local awards ceremony in Japan even before their official debut in Japan.

RIIZE was selected as one of the 'Best 3 New Artists' in the Asian category at the '38th Japan Gold Disc Awards 2024' announced by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 13th, establishing themselves as a top-tier rookie garnering popularity not only domestically but also internationally.

In response, RIIZE stated, "We believe that we were able to receive such a valuable award thanks to all the BRIIZE (official fan club) who always support us and everyone who supports us. We will continue to strive to achieve big dreams with our fans while constantly growing. We sincerely appreciate it."

The 'Japan Gold Disc Awards,' which began in 1987, is an awards ceremony hosted by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, selecting artists and works that have contributed to the development of the music industry over the past year. The winners in each category and their works are determined based on objective criteria such as album sales, music video sales, and streaming performance over the past year.

RIIZE gained explosive popularity in Japan as well as in Korea with their debut single album 'Get A Guitar,' released in September 2023, quickly becoming a K-pop 'rising star' by topping the Oricon Daily Album Chart and Weekly Overseas Album Chart.

Following this, RIIZE opened a Tokyo pop-up store in January this year to commemorate the release of their single 'Love 119,' recording sold-out performances in advance reservations alone. They also received a good response from appearances on major music programs such as TV Asahi's 'MUSIC STATION,' NHK Music Broadcast, Fuji TV morning broadcasts, and the large-scale music festival 'GMO SONIC 2024.'
